ABOUT ME

I am from Idaho, but golly I've been in a lot of places! I went to school in Boston, spent a year in Vermont, worked on local foods in Idaho, and recently moved with my partner to Colorado. We've had a great time climbing in Spain, hitchhiking in France, and hiking in China. I love to meet new people!

I'm looking forward to hosting people at our cozy hobit hole in Aurora, and using it to travel. I love 90% of the people I meet couchsurfing, and that's a damn good rate.

Centres d'intérêt

I love the outdoors, and working in sustainability. I studied rocks (geology), water (hydrology), and how people interact with them through business (sustainability). I've only worked for Co-ops and start-ups since graduating, so my world view is certainly tainted. Once I tried to raise awareness about sustainable consumerism by winning the Miss Boise title, and using the crown as a soap box. That was an interesting year!

Climbed up to the base of Gonga Shan in Western China

I like to teach rock climbing (I've taught at least 300 people how to climb for the first time) and see those light bulbs go off. I love to learn about new social enterprises and try to understand them. I can share food, a good conversation, and some partner stretching!
