ABOUT ME

I am a student studying Middle Eastern and North African Studies and Arabic. I want to work with youth development in the Middle East and specifically refugees. I'm a junior at the university but I still have a few years until I graduate. I'm Colombian so I often visit my family back home in the city of Armenia. I enjoy traveling of course and I often go to Canada and Mexico specifically. I've only been to Europe once for work. I worked at a fair in RHO, Italy with my uncle selling his delicious Colombian coffee for a few weeks in December. I had a blast! My last week there I traveled to Germany to visit an old friend of mine and saw he beautiful land of Switzerland! I'm currently in Egypt studying Arabic and will be here for about three months. I haven't hosted but I've surfed once and it was fantastic(thanks to Peter). Please feel free to ask me any questions!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I think if you really want to immerse yourself in a new culture it should be with a local. Couch surfing gives your that opportunity to meet and learn about people from anywhere in the globe. Which is great! I also just enjoy meeting new people and seeing the world in a different perspective. I embrace lean ring something new and expanding my knowledge...because every time you learn something new you learn you really know nothing! I love it.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like a lot of different music. However, I enjoy listening to John Butler Trio especially though. I like movies too! I usually watch a bunch of random ones, not hat picky about movies but I do prefer comedy sometimes. As for books I enjoy reading about astrology, scifi and science...specifically the brain.

I recently went on a hot air balloon, and honestly it was one of the coolest things I've ever done...it's huge! But I'd like to say I'm still working on it :)
