About Me
CURRENT MISSION
.. to find my place on earth.
ABOUT ME
Hi everyone! I'm a nice, open-minded, curious, fun girl from the fabulous city of Hamburg. I moved to Göteborg two years ago for a quick internship and somehow got stuck... That's the kind of person I am: If you get a good chance in life, might as well grab it. And don't be scared to change everything.
I am an industrial designer, traveller, friend, sunbather, cat-person, excellent vegetarian cook, passionate reader, music nerd, big sister and positive thinker.
I love spending all of my freetime with my friends, getting to know new people, enjoying summertime, celebrating life, reinventing myself and staying curious.
PHILOSOPHY
Folks, I'm telling you, birthing is hard and dying is mean - so get yourself a little love in between.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I live in a tiny flat right now, I unfortunately do not have a couch for travellers. I actually don't even have a couch at all. But I would be happy to meet people visiting my city and making them feel at home whenever I have time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been couchsurfing on a few occasions, and met couchsurfers through friends that had some more space than me - only great experiences, that reassured my faith in this wonderful concept.
Interests
I'm very interested in anything cultural. I spend a lot of time listening to music - at work, on my bike, at home, when i'm out dancing... It's a very important part of my life.
As a designer, I am also passionate about arts, and love visiting galleries and museums when travelling. The same goes for reading and literature in general, although I also love movies and good TV series, oh no, I am a real culture nerd!
As a daughter of the city of Hamburg, I love nightlife, not only dancing all night, but strolling through bars, late night movies, long walks and just observing the pulse of the city. I grew up at the seaside, and I will always want to live close to the sea or in a harbourcity. I spend days just hanging around on the beach or on the rocks by the water. My life in Göteborg now is quite perfect, and the Swedish summers are probably the best, if it's not raining for weeks straight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have a photo of myself close to the top of the vulcano of Villarica in Chile, which erupted shortly after I left the country. What a drastic reminder of nature's unpredictability and power.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make pretty fantastic dinners from scratch! And I like sharing whatever little I have, even if it's just a funny story or pretentious wisdom about life.
Unfortunately I live in a tiny tiny room, with literally no space for surfers. Since I'm sharing the flat, there is otherwise only a kitchen (which I have indeed slept in once), which I think would be a bit unsuitable for curfers to have a nice stayover experience in Göteborg. I hope I will have more space wherever I will live next.
