About Me
ABOUT ME
Hello!
I am a half Swedish and half Mexican girl, studying my university degree in Lund in Southern Sweden and globetrotting whenever I have time! I am very interested in other cultures and in languages, so I took the opportunity to do two exchanges: one in Sydney and one in Nantes.
Countries I have traveled to include China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Georgia, quite many European countries, etc. Usually traveling solo, but I also discovered Southeast Asia with a Mexican friend.
My best friends would probably say that I'm a bit crazy (but in a good way), energetic, social and that I normally have a smile on my face.
PHILOSOPHY
I'd have to quote Albert Camus "Don't wait till the last judgement, it takes place every day". In short: go for whatever you want to do and don't wait around expecting things to happen. Make them happen!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not many yet! But it has been a nice experience so far :)
Interests
Besides culture and languages, I love music, sports, cinema and drawing. Also enjoy social work a lot and have been working as a volunteer in several organizations or representing my university.
Music, Movies, and Books
- Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Innocent Voices, Pulp Fiction
- L'etranger by Camus, Sherlock Holmes, the Millennium series by Stieg Larsson, Crime and Punishment by Dostojevskij
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Driving around in New Zealand. Never been so close to so many accidents due to the scenery
- Walking on the Chinese Wall from Simatai to Jinshaling. Sweating, but enjoying every second of it.
- Yaxchilan in the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. Old Mayan city that took my breath. Much more than Palenque or Chichen Itza who have unfortunately become a little bit too touristy (although still impressive)
- Heading towards a monastery in the top of a hill close to Mskheta in Georgia, and getting lost in a mountain for a few hours. Ended up sliding on sand and rocks (not always very smoothly) until we got to a church where there was a baptism.
Teach, Learn, Share
- Languages to practice (Swedish, Spanish, English, French)
