About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I find myself traveling around in Asia again and again, and now I'm heading towards Philippines!

ABOUT ME

I am a calm person who likes to travel, like all CS's do :)
I don't like doing the same stuff all the time. I want to try all kind of things and learn them.

I have traveled a lot with my family and friends and tre awsome tips alone as well. I also use another site (airbnb) and got some good experiences from there as well as here on CS.

I have a lot of interests and am very easy going. Love to try new things and have new experiences!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to try different things and not stand still doing the same things like yesterday. Last year I have been playing guitar, learned a lot about Photoshop, cameras and taking pictures, webdesign and traveling. I don't want to just do one thing and become great, I rather try a lot of things and learn a bit of them all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both hosted and surfed and also used another site similar to CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Inter-railed August-September 2009 and got a lot of CS experience then and some on my first four month trip in Asia. Planning to use CS again.

I believe I am independent and easy to host. I am easy going, polite and easy to talk to.

Interests

I like technology, science and computers. I also like to work out, travel, meet new people, poker, party and try new things. I have always liked music, both to listen to it and to play. I have played drums for a couple of years, guitar and some piano. I have been rock climbing for about one year now.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have not read a great deal of books in my life, but I really liked Fjodor Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment. It has very detailed and living monologues. I have heard a lot of this book before I read it, and I was a bit unsure if it really would be that great, but it was.
I have also been reading The Belgarad series and can really recommend them.

I like a lot of different music, but generally I like advanced instrumental music. That way I can be very broad in my genres. I like some jazz, some metal, some classical music and so on. It's not like I enjoy every music style, but I like a lot of different styles.

I really like watching a good movie. A good movie to me is one that is a bit hard to follow and where there is a lot of things going on.
I like movies like Primer, Pulp Fiction, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Fight Club, Memento, Se7en, Léon, A Clockwork Orange, Reservoir Dogs, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in the red sea, seeing so many nice things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a math and IT teacher, so if you have some troubles in that areas I will gladly help out :)
I can always teach some guitar, drums or maybe even piano. And English for sure.
There is a lot of things one can teach eachother, so if you really want there are a lot of other things I can teach.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Laos, Latvia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Viet Nam
