About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want my kids and grandkids to tell their friends that their mom and grandma has been around the block
ABOUT ME
I'm from Louisville, KY (Derby City). My whole family lives in Louisville but I decided to go away to college in Bloomington, Indiana. I love IU! I'm very proud of my alma mater!
After I graduated I moved to Chicago in search for bigger and better adventures!
PHILOSOPHY
When it comes down to it kindness is really all you can ask of anyone. If you're kind to me, I'll be your friend and therefore overlook something I wouldn't have normally cared for.
If we, citizens, do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of crude reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams. -Life of Pi
I believe happiness can be created. Happiness is never stopping to think if you are. Therefore, a simple fact about me: I am happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed Chichen Itza in Mexico. I'm afraid of heights so this was particularly terrifying for me. Especially since the steps were super tiny and there was only a rope to help keep balance. Nothing else!
Teach, Learn, Share
My Dad and I are Nichiren Buddhists. It's more a personal philosophy than a religion. If you are a curious about a different look on life feel free to ask me! :)
