I am always looking to meet interesting people. I love traveling, eating and cooking amazing food, learning about different cultures and I am a softy for all pets. I was originally born in Argentina and grew up in the midwest and am now a transplant to NC. I know the triangle very well and am more than happy to show my guests around. In my free time I enjoy gardening, watching movies and streaming series on my projector, catching a local music act and sitting down to a board game with friends. I have a spare guest room with a full-sized bed, a living room couch and a queen-sized air mattress (that is guaranteed to loose some air over night).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am part of the Couchsurfing community because I believe in building community and in making our world smaller and more accepting. I also know that the best way to familiarize yourself with a new place and culture is to share your experience with local that knows the region. As for hosting, I am always looking to make new friends throughout the world. I do not expect much from the couch surfers I host - just be clean and respectful of my home and its belongings. I love when people cook with/for us, bring us wine or specialty beers/treats, or offer to lend a helping hand with chores around the house.

I like to consider my house a place for sharing skills. I am equally receptive to teaching as well as learning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an excellent cook that likes to learn cuisines from all over the world. I am particularly fond of making Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Peruvian, Argentinean and Italian cuisine. Beyond being a neuroscientists (which I doubt is a skill you want to learn), I am also a photographer and have a darkroom at home in case you are interested in learning that process. I love hiking and kayaking/canoeing.
