Overview
About Me
I'm a college student from Missouri, USA and I'm studying abroad in New Zealand this semester. I've travelled a lot around the United States with a touring choir and am excited to expand my travels to other parts of the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In high school, I travelled with a touring choir around the United States and we stayed with different hosts every night. Some of my fondest memories looking back to those trips are of the amazing hosts I met along the way. After my semester abroad in New Zealand, I will be backpacking for a few weeks around Australia before heading home, so I think couch surfing would be a great way to get to know some new, interesting people during those travels and really enhance my experiences abroad.
Interests
I love to read, watch movies, sing, scuba dive, hike, bake, and hang out with friends. I always love new adventures, trying new things, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a pretty big nerd, so some of my favorite books are the Harry Potter series. I'm also a big fan of Star Wars, Sherlock Holmes (the original stories and the BBC show), Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, all things Disney, Percy Jackson, and the Hunger Games. My favorite music includes Broadway showtunes, like Shrek the Musical, Matilda, and The Book of Mormon, as well as Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, Regina Spektor, and folky Christian artists like Rend Collective Experiment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam with dolphins in Florida.
Teach, Learn, Share
I strive to continuously learn and grow so I'm excited to learn new things as I travel from all the people I meet along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've got lots of fun stories to share from my travels around the US, and I always love to hear other people's stories. I also am very tidy and would love to take my host out to dinner as a huge thank you!
