Overview
About Me
We are actually a happy go lucky couple both born and raised in Sydney Australia, we have spent the last two and a half years living and working in London, England.
She is 27 bubbly, former university student with a Degree in Social Work. An avid reader she also is obsessed with cross-stitch and being an all round kind soul and someone everyone wants to be friends with.
He is a 32 year old handyman with some of his happiest times of his life with a motorbike and the open road ahead of him. He much more of a silly personality with a million bad dad jokes that will have you rolling your eyes.
We have been in our happy ball of relationship bliss for four years now and we living the dream backpacking around Europe from May 3rd till September 2017 when we will be flying back to Australia. We also share similar tastes in music, life goals and food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The fact of the matter is one of the joys of travel is meeting new people and this is the primary reason that we have decided to go couch surfing. We enjoy good conversations, laughs and want to share a little peice of our lives with other people and make contacts/friendships that will hopefully last a life time.
Music, Movies, and Books
Metal/rock like disturbed system of a down, steel panther, comedy bands like garfunkel and oates, lonely island, pop opera like kate miller heidke. Used to play the clarinet and saprano sax and loves being introduced to new music.
She loves historical fiction-anything to do in the Renaissance, Tudor, Medieval period particularly France and England. Fantasy books- authors such as Sara Douglas, Traci Cadavan and Jaqueline Carey. Has recently been getting into thrillers and drama and would like to be pointed in the right direction.
He loves good comedies like old school adam sandler, south park. Shawshank redemption, the green mile, good will hunting, two hands and the dark knight. Will watch most good movies with the exception of horror genre
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
She has climbed Mt Batur in Bali. Eye opening and sun blistering experience-tip make sure you take sun screen with you everywhere!
He has been scuba diving on the great barrier reef as well as exploring the Daintree Rainforest.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We love to cook, we are always in the kitchen, bad jokes (dark sense of humour), a good laugh, cards against humanity. He is a tradee and can help fix small stuff around the house ;)
