About Me
Hi I'm a teacher with a passion for history and social studies has driven me to volunteer with local organizations including the Heritage Preservation Board for my town. I'm a live music junkie. I'm the owner and founder of Hope Street Patio, a venue for supporting the arts, house concerts and live music where I live. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, bicycling, practicing yoga, and walking my dog, Louie. I like hiking and anything having to do with water. I've been trying out stand up paddle recently and loving it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I can't wait to meet new folks. I run some vacation rentals out of my home in Tarpon Springs, Florida so I love the networking and friendships that can bring. Figured couchsurfing would be very similar. I also do a lot with house concerts. I'm very much in to live music. It's my hobby. Hosting house concerts and providing accommodations to musicians is a hobby for me. There's nothing like hearing music in a true listening room by singer/songwriters.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am coming from a small Greek fishing village where I live in Florida. I'd love to bring you some Greek candies or lovely soaps. I can teach you a few words in Greek and tell you some stories about the culture.
I would be happy to help anyone interested in house concerts with starting your own listening room too. I was recently awarded host of the year for 2016 for Hope Street Patio. Check it out on Facebook.
