About Me
I left Canada when I was 17 for what I thought would be a 10 - day trip, didn't return and haven't looked back since. I have been living nomadically for several years now, working various jobs where ever my feet land me to fund my travels.
I bought land in Colombia in 2021, with the intention of having my own homestead and living off the grid. I am in the process of building a house using eco construction methods, using only materials that I harvest from my land directly. I am planting food, plants, herbs and medicines, and the idea is to become completely self - sufficient and sustainable. I live without electricity or running water, I am blessed to have a clean river running right through my land that I can directly drink from. I am currently on the way to get myself back down south and continue with this project!
I am currently travelling with my partner Kevin. We are two creative musicians and artists currently on a road trip from Tennessee to California, with no real timeline. Our intention for this trip is to learn. create, explore and meet as many like minded people along the way. We are tent camping the majority of the way, however this time of the year is chilly chilly so we are hoping for some open doors along the way to sleep under a warm roof. We are not fussy - a floor is more than enough for us, we have all of the sleeping gear that we need. We have lots to offer - be it a funny story, a helping hand around the house, a musical experience or a home cooked meal - we are here for all of it and would love to share with and get to know our hosts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet like minded people and have a more human experience while travelling. To connect with locals and integrate with the local culture. To learn, share and create. Every interaction with a new person is a potential to learn something new.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like everything from deep forest trance to heavy metal; in my opinion good music isn't limited to a genre.
Pink Floyd is my favourite band.
Horror movies, Documentaries.
Favourite author is Paulo Cohelo.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've saved a life. Spoke at Canada's second-largest Animal Advocacy demonstration in front of 1500+ people. Helped start a grassroots volunteer organization in Guatemala after a fatal volcano eruption.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.
What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my cooking skills and cook you a badass meal! Of course I'm happy to help with house chores and cleaning as well. I can share a good conversation over some wine, and love exchanging art and music tastes. I can share my writing; I'm a spoken word poet!
