About Me
Hello!
My name is Carrie and I'm a 20-year old law student. My love for travel was kicked off in 2010, when I went on a 2-week homestay trip to Japan. The hospitality of my host and the absolute wealth of cultural knowledge that she shared with me was beautiful, and since then I have endeavoured to learn more about the world around me!
I'm currently volunteering at a community legal centre, and have done work with Amnesty International in the past. I really enjoy volunteering and giving back to the community, and hope to someday work in global health :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the heart of travel lies in seeing the wonders of other cultures, and this to me involves travelling the streets in the footsteps of locals. I really appreciate these opportunities to listen to the stories and words of advice from local people, and I love to share my knowledge of Australia, and the many places that I've been.
