ABOUT ME

We are Sean and Carris, a friendly happy couple from England. Started travelling with a one way ticket to India 3 years ago and havn't looked back since!

We are currently in Canada on a 2 year working holiday visa, we did 4 months of volunteering when we first arrived and then worked for 3 months at a ski hill in northern Ontario. About a month ago we bought a van and are now traveling the Eastern provinces.

We have attempted to map our route so far, for friends and family and for us to look back on in the future....feel free to have a look and see where we have been so far!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have only actually used couchsurfing for its couches so far in Japan and Malaysia but it has been great fun. Its been really good meeting local people and adds something extra to our experience of a place or City. When (and if) we eventually make it back to England, our couches will be open to anyone travelling through our way.

Interests

We really love wildlife, adventure and language and so have tried to do something a little different in every Country we have visited to really get the most out of seeing places and people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sean is into heavy metal music, Carris prefers prefers beachy bum music. Love any kind of books, they have kept us sane throughout our trip and made crazy 36 hour bus rides seem that little bit shorter!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. After 8 days of trekking, finally reaching Annapurna Base Camp at -15 degrees in Nepal
2. Scrambling through a tiny dark tunnel in the centre of a Pyramid in Cairo, Egypt
3. Swam with whale sharks in Australia!
4. Working at a zoo in Thailand for 5 weeks - we made friends with lots of monkeys!
