Overview
About Me
My name is Carrissa Glarner, my friends and coworkers call me Carr. I am a local producer / art director in the twin cities that creates unique events that highlight's the awesome local people and businesses of Minneapolis - St. Paul. Not only do I enjoy producing my own events, but attending and participating in other events that make this city great. I have a dog named Scout, he's a husky mix. Scout's personality is laid back, I always say he's been an "old man since birth." He doesn't bark, he's completely house trained, and he just likes to chill with the humans.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am very passionate about the twin-cities; I believe and see every day the creative and talented people that make Minneapolis - St. Paul such a cultural and unique place. From music, art, comedy, performing arts, to food, breweries, festivals, and then of course our mass amount of lakes and outdoor activities!
I'm friendly; I love meeting people and showing them how great the twin-cities are and the amazing things we have happening here all the time. The work I do has given me the opportunity to meet some phenomenal locals doing great things here, and I want to share that with anyone who's interested in getting a real local experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Co-founded a non-profit that spreads random-acts-of-kindness. We connect the locals to social causes by creating unique opportunities to volunteer and get involved on a no-commitment basis. Created for the busy professionals in the city that want to give back to their community but cannot commit the time required by many other non-profits and organizations.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Local culture; the know and the means to experience the best of the twin cities, as well as great local people doing and making cool things.
My loft is located right off the light-rail, which connects downtown Minneapolis to downtown (or Lowertown as we call it) St. Paul, and everything in-between! Accountable and affordable public transportation to get anywhere in the twin-cities.
Countries I’ve Visited
Aruba, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, Virgin Islands, U.S.
