ABOUT ME

I just like to experience life, new things, new places, see and understand how others live their lives, share my little corner of the universe, enjoy every minute of it, and surround myself with good people.

PHILOSOPHY

I was recently swimming with someone who's almost three times my age. The water was icy cold, and I took my sweet time testing it, up to my thighs, now my knees, finally my waist.
My swimming accomplice dove in without even testing the water, came up for air, and let out a cry of joy.
It took about 2 seconds for me to realize I was the only one not in the maximum fun zone.
So, that's what I'm trying to learn to do: throw myself fearlessly into the water and produce more joyous cries.

I prefer to travel by bike. It just feels like I may be alive. It's possible. Pedal through the decomposing leaves, using only the strength of the toast and yogurt I had for breakfast. That's power.The way I love tends to land me in trouble. I know it's technically "baggage." But I want every story, every heartbreak, to know about that terrifying first kiss, to understand why the past "failed" and how that can teach us how to succeed in the future. I am going to share it, will stand nowhere but naked and accountable when the moment arises. I want to know about the person standing in front of me. Fuck the idea that "I was born right into this moment." I am a collective.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My living room is your living room, my porch is your porch. I am working on staying in one place, so mostly I can host, or show people around town and introduce them to folks.

Also: coffee, any hour of the day, or tea if you prefer. We can chat or sit in silence, or I'll enlist your aid in my latest craft or gardening project. It's all chill and comfy around here.
