About Me
CURRENT MISSION
enjoy myself/figure what kind of direction makes me happy on a sustainable basis (I'm thinking job that's both intellectually stimulating and useful)
ABOUT ME
I am 24, and I am learning how to live my life. I traveled a lot whenever I had free time and in each new place I tried to take a fresh look at the world. Now that I've started a PhD I guess is the first time I truly settle. It feels quite good to call a new place your home. And there are many things to learn and discover about Cambridge. Each time I traveled I had this strong sense of freedom, and when I met people, of trust and connection. I hope I still manage to, by travel or otherwise, maintain this sense.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I've only been surfing and had amazing time! I haven't been able to host as I stay in student dorms, but from next year I move into a shared house, should be able to host then
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing in many many places and I just loved it. I've met people I won't forget and really had great experiences
Interests
I study Economics. I expect this subject to explain lots of mysterious things to me, and I think it does a good job so far. I also love to travel around and do so on first occasion. Further, I like riding short distances on my bike

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure I can teach a particular skill, except for knife sharpening, I'm pretty good at that. I'm happy to show people what music used to be hot in Russia years and years ago. And I always like to know what people are listening to themselves.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing is quite efficient in couchsurfing, I find. In general spending time together -- let's cook a meal , have some wine, discuss, share thoughts and debate. Let's sit outside, weather permitting. Let's go for a walk, I can do long distances, or we can take breaks and sit here and there.
