Overview
About Me
I‘m Carsten, was born in Germany and found my passion to travel for long periods of time on a small budget. I love sharing stories about all the things and people that I‘ve come across during my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love couchsurfing, because it‘s just so different getting to know a city with a local than to read „10 great things to do in City X“. It’s also great to learn the basics of the language in a new country from a local. In the past I only had great experiences with other couchsurfers but never went through to complete my own profile, so now is the time.
Interests
Hammocks, hiking, biking, graffiti, streetart, travelling, watching sunsets and just adventures in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Techno and Psytrance, but I also have a thing for chilled music.
Stand by me, The Mechanist and lots of other movies that I couldnt remember while writing this.
I like reading books, I‘m just bad at finishing them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Crossing the border from Vietnam to Laos on a bike, being caught in landslides and stuck in the mud for hours and then doing the same road two more times because my friends passport was still at the border.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you a little german, help you to improve your english skills and help you with simple computer problems.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love drawing and painting stuff, so in case you want to make some walls or other things look more interesting I‘m glad to help.
Furthermore, I‘m a pretty good storyteller and always up for a joke or banter.
