ABOUT ME

Being of Dutch origin I do live up to some of the Dutch stereotypes. So yes, my home is situated below sea level (sounds terrifying, doesn't it), I don't have a car but I have 4 bicycles at disposal (every season a different bike!), I do like my Dutch cheese a lot and of course I go nuts and dress up completely orange when our national proud 'Oranje' is playing in the international soccer tournaments. In some other respects, I might not be the 'typical' Dutch guy: As we basically don't have any mountains in the country, I go crazy when I see one and I wont rest until I've climbed it! As we basically don't get any good waves on our coasts either, I go frantic whenever I see some nice swell and waves to surf. But when I wake up from those dreams of climbing mountains and surfing big waves, I keep myself busy by playing tennis, soccer and running. Also, I do have my fair share of passion for music, having been a radio dj and been involved in several bands as a drummer. After I have run out of all the nice excuses to keep myself busy, I guess I have to focus and eventually find a real job now the studies are over.
