About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to publish an anti-superficial impression in this world

ABOUT ME

This year I am 25 years old, and very happy to discover this network of very helpful people. The point is, I am not just expecting to meet helpful people, I make high efforts to help travellers myself. Wheater it is just guiding around Aachen (Aix la chapelle, Aken,...), showing the best ice cream bar or even host another surfer.
I am extremely honest, reliable and open minded.

PHILOSOPHY

Wie es in den Wald hineinschallt so schallt es auch wieder raus!
(Your own behavior in front of other people is mirrorlike to that the people treat you)
I like to be the teamplayer rather than playing the one who pretends to know what is best for the group.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Help surfers to make satisfieing travel experiences, and surf the world as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is true: I am a new member. Years ago I had a socalled zis travel grant. The last years I joined another community for hostfriendships, and I am still joining.

Interests

First of all interests is sport. Especially participating in it. And preferably endurance sports like cycling, swimming, running, skating and rowing.
If there is plenty of time, I like to build radio controlled models, like a car or a motor singleplane. Furthermore I like to do handicrafts, currently I am developing a fridge powered by an alternative propulsion system.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My last trip was an expanded cycle ride all over Germany. In Würzburg I had really friendly hosts: A flat share commune consisting of bike couriers. Good experience I very happiely like to remember on.

Teach, Learn, Share

Extremely helpful on cycle trips and daylong expeditions, especially the rainy ones:

Farmers are very helpful with accomodation or just covering oneself under a roof in order to keep off the rain. In my experience it was very helpful in remote areas in case of extremely bad weather or a daytrip of a more demanding profile than expected. In that case I didn´t approach the planned place for that day.
For my own I can say that really worked in the few cases, in the Netherlands, England, and the Allgäu (south Bavaria)
