Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Here to meet good people, who can show me the places I am trying to visit through a locals point of view, and help me save some money while traveling; or find places to stay where I am welcome to stay when I'm visiting a place for the first time. Being that I'm a college student I don't have the option of offering up housing where I live currently so I am basically just here to see if anyone from where I want to visit could house me and whoever is with me! I travel light, floor space or a couch would be more than enough for me.
