Hello! I am Carter, 24 year old Canadian guy, returned to Ontario after 8 months abroad and now I am teaching ESL in Toronto. I love meeting new people, swapping stories and having meaningful exchanges. I find getting to know the locals wherever one may be is the most fulfilling way to travel and to have great learning experiences! I am a big believer in people helping people, and have the pay it forward mentality. I think couchsurfing is great for this and brings people in this world that much closer together. I was fortunate enough to have some great hosts in my travels and cannot say how much I appreciated the kindness and compassion that people showed me when I was in need. It is time for me to pay it back now that I have a place in Toronto, and I'm excited to meet travellers and like-minded people!
