ABOUT ME

I am a tree-hugging, soft capitalism enjoying, liberal (by American standards), non-meat eating adventurer. I'm outgoing and have a strong interest in tours, geography, ecology, architecture, modern history and museums of all shapes and sizes.

I like to think I'm an easy traveler and I keep a good sense of humor in the face of utter confusion (aka traveling) which makes everything more enjoyable.

I have studied Spanish for 8 years and now I am studying in the Universidad de Salamanca so I guess I can function reasonably well in the language.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Washington DC and while I don't have a couch, I love to show people around the city and talk about DC as a city vs it as the capitol. Also, if you are in town for a protest and need some advice on how to get around the city, or a place to rest for an afternoon let me know and I'll see what I can do to help out!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed with a friend who is an experienced couchsurfer, for a long weekend in Galicia. It was the first time I had heard of couchsurfing and it was an amazing experience. I hope to build on that experience in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once performed in Madison Square Garden in front on a nearly packed audience. I also was smacked in the head by former NBA player Dikembe Mutombo three times and I didn't fall down.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and basic Spanish along with basics of various forms of ballroom dance. I can also snap, whistle, explain the American political system, and a variety of eco-related things .
