Hi! Nice to meet you! I am Yun!
I came from South Korea🚀

I did CS 5 years ago during my first independent bag-packing trip😌. I met 3 host and 2 friends. They were really kind and I able to shared a lot of meaningful memories during CS. It was really unforgettable memories for me in my life🙏🙌💕

Now I visited Europe again with two little girls one is Sumin(17), Suyeon(16) for participated ‘Brave kids’ program in Poland!

It was international intercultural artistic program. There were 22 countries and more than 100 artistic kids!🌟 India, Kenya, Ukraine, Iran, Nicaragua and even Syria and Palestine too..!

Every countries kids brought their dance, singing, stories and teaches kid to kid. They prepared playing Korean traditional instruments and I was a leader of our Korean team🥰

During the program(it was one month!) we shared happiness, joyful, friendship and love. Sometime we teared because we shared each of countries sickness too.

And finally we made big and beautiful performance 7th July, 9th July..! There were more than 1000 audiences and we played for world peace. It was really amazing and touching experience.

Now, we finished Brave kids project. And we decided traveling in Europe!

From 10th~15th July we will stay in Poland(because Poland is really kind and beautiful countries😂❤️ especially people!)

And we will move Germany especially Berlin! We really wonder about Berlin! especially me(yun), I am really concern about living in Berlin in future. That is one of reason to go to Berlin in this trip!

We can share some part of dance or multiplex songs. We like music, cooking and we are expecting new conversation!

We did accommodation but it was little bit far from what we really want. We missed the experiences with host family before in Radziejowice for two weeks. And also I want to show my CS experiences to my girls.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First, I have curiosity about every difference thing! 'meeting people' is best way for knowing it and also 'place' give many thing like atmosphere I think.

Second, I guess It will be make more diversity opportunity each other! share food, paly new game, find interesting place and give happiness.

Third, It will be give a chance talk more deeply. I always express my deep emotional in my favorite park near my town.

Fourth, actually every cost for my journey are my own money without only ticket by airplane. Since in this February I have been getting some part time job and working hard. I hope to continue my journey at least on February next year.

And last, actually I also did touristic trip. But for me, without exchange with people to people, I can not feel something special!!! And I realized, I prefer to sharing the stories, cooking together and singing together with diverse people!!! Without touch meeting, everything is not thing special for me.

So that is the reason why I started Couchsurfing!

Interests

Mainly I have learned South African dance for 3years with improvisation dance. The interested part in Those dance are open to all people. In this world, there are a lot of reason about unconnected people to people like age, gender, academe background, language, race but my teachers always say. "we are all connect through dance and music."(I really love them!).

And also 'finding connection with people living under the same sky' and 'empathy' are big subject in my life. I feel responsibility from knowing about the voices of minority and meeting hidden situations. so I am finding my method how can I make a connection with people and in this world. And If you have interest about it, I want to ask to you.
'How do you make a connection of this world?'.

During the Trip, I have started drawing. I did not learn about drawing skill but I love to drawing and I am enjoying well. I like to meet drawing people. So interesting!

I like folk songs like 'five hundred mile', peaceful songs like 'imagine', 'one love', playing for the change team's songs, Jazz like 'take five', some feel deeply soul like 'yellow', 'hello' and a lot of Disney's songs! And also several movie soundtrack songs(OST!!) like 'searching for sugar man' and 'once'. in addition I love The Beatles, Mika, Phil soon-Jang's songs and Myung whun-Chung's conducting.

And when I do my work, I prefer to listen 'Ludovico Einaudi's live concert' on the youtube. It is AMAZING!

But the most beautiful and make me being most happy music is people's live voices with simple instruments for love and peace :)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I won the race of one hundred runners!
Look at me, I was born in this world!

And I eat everything very deliciously. Chefs like me💕 and I also love cookers!

I walked Camino de Santiago and I made every moments was beautifully in my pilgrimage. I able to say, I am proud of me!

In addition, I live my daily life seems like journey :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned daily life thing like cooking, making clothes/furniture, playing the guitar/Korean traditional instruments, farming... for 9years in my elementary and middle school.

And after I have studied social state in this serious Capitalism generation and humanity through nuclear power plant system in my high school

Now I am learning African dance!
I can share several things like those-!

I have curiosity about your country education system. Because nowadays Korea all of people really living tired even if earn money a lot. Many people can not enjoy their own life. Basically one of the main reason is Korea regular school education. So I wonder about students education experiments in the other nation.

What I Can Share with Hosts
