ABOUT ME
I am appreciative of this Earth. Check out some of my bread pictures: https://picasaweb.google.com/117766882238751350090/LoafPierreNurySRusticLightRye?authuser=0&feat=directlink
PHILOSOPHY
(Feel free to skip.)
(I wrote this as a much younger lad, and don't' have the heart to even think about whether to delete this paragraph now. )
Winnie the Pooh.
No regrets. There are webs of possibilities at every moment, but they dynamically implode as the future becomes the past. The fact that something has happened means that it could not happen in any other way (because it happened in one specific way.) Coming back in past and living again, all else being equal (which we can assume if we are trying to argue for not having regrets about personal choices), we would just repeat ourselves. Not that we don't have a choice. We would just always choose the same. Eternal recurrence. Thus, no regrets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
WHY
Because it's amazing. I like it when the technologies of today bring people closer together and make the use of our resources more efficient in the process.
I also apprecaite the general decrease in travel friction, but for that we could just look at modern hotel networks or airbnb. Couchsurfing is a bit less of a filtered interaction: in a way an undiluted social contract.
There's a good deal of idealism in this pursuit.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I have NO stable address. Sorry. In the past few years, I have been living in other people's homes and moving too often to have the space and peace of mind to host many people, but in a few months, I hope to welcome some seasoned travelers in my humble abode... this time in Lausanne, Switzerland.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am a swing dancer, and hence I have am an experienced couch sleeper and host, even though mostly outside of couchsurfing (understand: online) community.

Don't have the hours to fill this in. There's too much.
Happy to talk.
