I'm a barefoot adventurer from Colorado with a knack for outdoor adventure and a love of new people with interesting stories. I graduated from Cornell College in 2015 and have since taught English in Peru for a year, did social work at a youth resource center in Chicago, mentored high school students on a summer travel trip, worked as an environmental educator in Connecticut, and spent the summer teaching leadership through backcountry backpacking in the Rockies. I'm now a mentor for a non profit social justice gap year program in Portland, OR and I love my job!

I love to travel mostly for the people and exploring, and couchsurfing is an amazing way to get to know people. The best experiences I've had traveling have been when I met locals who could share their love of their home with me. I also work for a small non profit organization so I don't have a lot of money to spend, so this is the best of all worlds!
