CURRENT MISSION
Wanderlusting to the beat of my own drum.
ABOUT ME
If you asked my friends about me they'ed probably start with saying that I'm small and I like to eat but really, I can't do much about the fact that I'm small and who doesn't like to eat? Then they'd probably follow up with saying I'm that pretty spunky and sassy, arguably too sassy.
Interests
Currently, couchsurfing. Obviously since I'm filling out my couchsurfing profile right now, its safe to say that I enjoy traveling, meeting new people and having a good adventure, right? Well, actually up until a few weeks ago I had only heard of it in passing and hadn't given it much thought. My cousin though, is actually an avid couchsurfer(?) and was planning to host some people visiting Taiwan from Sweden but at the last minute she got stuck in New York and asked if I could host them instead. Without giving it too much thought I agreed to it not realizing really thinking about what I has just agreed to. The before day they finally arrived it hit me that I was about to have complete strangers in my apartment for 3 days and have to admit I might have tried to get out of it but failed. Luckily though, within a fews minutes (hours?) of meeting these guys I was hooked! Hooked on the idea of getting to know a new city from a locals perspective, hooked on the excitement of being able to show someone else my city, the best spots to eat, to see to drink, to hike! And hooked on hearing about people's stories, their adventures, their country and their culture. Sure enough, I knew the next time I traveled, I'd want to do it via couchsurfing.
So at the end of the day, doesn't really matter to me what I'm doing with ya, whether it's staying in and watching movies or out skydiving, either way, I'm sure it'd be a good time and good conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life takes my breath away all the time, I pretty much love everything about life and appreciate not only the finer things but the small seemingly insignificant things as well. In this past year alone, I've had plenty awe-inspiring moments. Right off the top of my head, trekking through the jungle in Chiang Mai was pretty awesome. I half-hazardly rode a dirt bike and hiked for 2 days, everyone got really grimy and gritty, it was amazing. While backpacking through Taiwan I had planned to stop in Green Island for a quick dive but loved it so much (the people and the dives) I ended up staying at the dive shop for a week just hanging out and diving, the clarity was +30meters! The best nights though, are the unexpected ones. The ones where I plan to just have a quick drink with my friends in Taipei and before you know it, suddenly I'm having an epic night of dancing, jumping, and pumping that by the time I get home I get to watch the sunrise on my rooftop, laying in the pool and just soak in the good feels.
