Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used Couchsurfing a couple of times in the past to find places to stay, and now that I have my own place I could also host a few people every now and again.

I feel most comfortable hosting females, but no firm ban on the Y chromosome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the first person to get the new iPhone 6 at the Apple store in Amsterdam after 12 hours waiting.

No I'm kidding. I have a Samsung.

An amazing thing? Probably sharing an "iftar" meal (the meal where you break the fast when the sun sets during Ramadan) with Kurdish Peshmerga fighters, who were on a break from fighting ISIS at the Turkish-Syrian border, near Kobane.
