CURRENT MISSION

I'm looking for accommodation for my first month in Wellington because my future flatmate has had to postpone her move down from Waikato due to a family emergency.

ABOUT ME

The first thing you need to know is that I am very, VERY artsy. I have dabbled in pretty much every artistic medium there is: Drawing, Painting, Singing, Airbrushing, Cartooning, Dance, Photography, Jewelry (Metal-work and beading), Sewing (embroidery, costume making, mending/hemming), Commercial Illustration, Children'€™s Book Illustration, Sculpture, Theater, Writing Fiction/Poetry, Puppetry, I've even done some modern dance that included the use of 4ft stilts. I'm, by no means, good at all of it, but I am a creative person and if it involves the arts chances are I want to try it. I can't imagine myself without the influence the Arts have had on me, it's a huge part of who I am.
Secondly, I am a Super Nerd; I'€™d be lying if I did'€™t admit that the Lord of the Rings'€™ films was what initiated my interest in New Zealand. But I try to spread my nerdy love between LotR, Harry Potter, Doctor Who (and most other BBC programming), and Star Wars as equally as possible. I also have an expanding love and knowledge of Steampunk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SteampunkŠ) for which I have designed and made my own jewelry.

If the last section hadn'€™t clued you in I'm a very goofy individual (I completely blame my parents!€, especially for the bad puns). I love laughing and being silly. I've got a strict belief that the best way to enjoy and appreciate life is to live it with good humor and an endless supply of wonder at the world around you.

During my first trip to New Zealand I found some spectacular flatmates (via CS) to share a house in Newtown, Wellington. I spent 4 amazing months with them and loved every bit of it.

Currently I'm on the hunt for short stay accommodation as I begin my 1st term as an International student at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School. I love painting and drawing. I'm also a huge nerd and movie buff. I could talk about things related to Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Tolkien, and Star Wars for ages! In December 2015 I took my second trip to NZ and spent most of that time on a Lord of the Rings/Hobbit locations tour through Red Carpet Tours.

Music: Movie/TV Soundtracks, World (Gaelic, Finnish, J-Pop), Classical, Musicals (Golden Era mostly, sometimes new), Gilbert & Sullivan Operetta(My Momma done raise me right!), Big Band/WWII (Andrews Sisters, Peggy Lee).
Books: Fantasy almost exclusively (Tolkien, Diana Wynn Jones, Harry Potter, etc.) but also a lot of Fanfiction.
