ABOUT ME

We're "mature" working folks in North Central WA, USA. We've got two grown daughters -- one currently in Berlin, Germany, and the other who works fulltime and lives at home with us. We've got a small dog, and don't tolerate smoking, loud noise, or the party life style. Larry is active in outdoor sports and music, and enjoys the occasional glass of wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've got a guest cabin, but bathroom in main house. We enjoy meeting the local people where we travel-- otherwise travel would be severely lacking-- and we will reciprocate with the right people here at home. We are very social and like doing things with other folks. It's always interesting to share life experiences with others.

Germany and Austria, and Wenatchee, WA, USA. Excellent hosts, excellent people and experiences.

Interests

Larry does bicycling -- both road and mountain -- and x-c skiing, including back-country (tele.) and skate skiing. Also plays a bit of ice hockey. And does some chorale singing and plays clarinet in Bavarian-style band (Musikkapelle - Leavenworth, WA).

Music, Movies, and Books

Larry likes variety of music: classical, especially chorale; jazz; blues; band marches; etc. Non-fiction books, especially political,adventure, and humor.

Skiing across the Sierra Nevada from east to west over the 12,000' passes in California. (Rosie)

Teach, Learn, Share

Larry will show you the great mountain bike rides and road rides of our area during summer months. In the winter he will show you the great backcountry skiing runs, and share apres-ski jokes and wine (especially for the more senior citizens).
Rosie will always have time for a good visit.
