ABOUT ME

I'm a 25-yr old Dutch guy, who moved to Mainz 1,5 years ago for work. I'm an easy-going yet very talkative person who loves to do sports, play music, go out for a drink, meet new people and avoid any possibility to be bored at all cost. I'm curious about what drives other people: their passions, ideas and views on all sorts of topics. Ever since my studies, international contacts have been an important part of my life, and I'm continuously looking to expand that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my CS experience thus far limits to hosting one person, and meeting people to hang out with when I'm on my own in another city for work. One simple message in the local CS community usually equals a fun night!

Interests

In my free time I love being outdoor for sports: I have a racing bike at home, with which I hit the hills above Wiesbaden in the weekend, and next to that I'm an enthusiast runner. Would have been a triathlete actually if it wasn't for my dramatic swimming... My interest for other sports is also wide, I try to follow pretty much everything. Furthermore, I'm also a lot into music, I play clarinet in different orchestras, which enabled me to travel places and get to meet a lot of great people.

Now I'm finally kind of settled in my new country, I'm trying to fulfill my wish for travelling. My ultimate goal: a 6-month trip across South-America!
