I’m a guy from Pittsburgh, PA who currently works remotely. I’ve decided to use this opportunity to explore as much as of the continental US as I can. I think the best way to explore places is with some guidance from actual locals. I’m interested in sights, food, and culture all over, in general. I literally get along with anyone. I like most things, and even the things I don’t particularly care for I usually do my best to understand the appeal they might have for other people. The only food I don’t like are water chestnuts (even if they are wrapped in bacon), so please bring on the local cuisine. Food is a great gateway to getting to know people IMO, and it’s usually a readily available method of exploring parts of the world.

I’m driving from Pittsburgh to San Diego and want to see and do as much as I can along the way. I plan to explore other areas of the United States, but San Diego is my first true “destination.” This seemed like an awesome way to meet new people and explore places that I haven’t been.

I love conversation, so sure. I don’t have much to offer in world experience. I can teach you Pittsburgh slang, or educate you on any character from Game of Thrones or Naruto. In all seriousness, I love conversation of every kind. I generally don’t get offended, at all.
