I'm a 20 year old Computer Science student currently living in in the suburbs of Detroit. I haven't done a whole lot of traveling in my life, but I'm looking to change that.

I'm laid back, social (yet socially awkward at the same time, somehow), and I've been told I'm a great listener. I'm down for anything, whether it be sitting around at home talking about whatever, going out and exploring the town, or frolicking through a field of flowers for 10 hours straight. I have a decent sense of humor and honestly can't remember the last time I took anything seriously.

So spend some time getting to know me if you want to have an incredibly intense and passionate friendship that quickly fizzles as I become a Facebook acquaintance whose status updates you chuckle at and like every so often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To surf on some couches and meet some cool dudes and dudettes. I want to travel and hotels are too impersonal.

Interests

Been longboarding for a few years but I still suck at it, but that's ok. I love going to concerts and listening to music (I'll listen to literally any genre, except for crunkcore. Yikes). Hiking is fun but I live in south east Michigan so the only hiking I tend to do here is to taco bell and back, but I've made some trips outside and have enjoyed a few good hikes in my time, my favorite being in the Smokey Mountains National Park. Food is great, I need it to live but I also enjoy eating it so that's good. Meeting new people and exploring, I'm on couchsurfing so that's pretty much the numero uno reason I'm here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll listen to nearly any genre of music you can think of, but my favorite music tends to be hardcore punk and heavy metal. Still, I enjoy everything from hip hop, to country, to folk, to electronic, to rock, to jazz, to noise, etc. If there's sound, I'll listen to it. I'm not much of a book reader, I've never had the attention span. Movies are cool, I'll watch pretty much anything. My favorite movie of all time is Trainspotting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you loads about different musical genres, some of which you may have never heard of. I can also teach you some stuff on computers. I can teach you how to love and bond with another human being on a deep emotional level that you have never felt possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A warm presence and a go-with-the-flow attitude about most things. I'll talk about almost anything and listen to any problems you might have, like an amateur therapist. I'm really good at keeping secrets. Just make sure you take my advice with a spoonful of salt.
