Overview
About Me
I am a generous, sweet, goofy, excitable, happy, healthy, social fella with a respect for quiet and privacy and a need to interact but also an equal need to be quiet and still (for at least twenty minutes a day haha.) Lover of mornings and coffee and sleep and food and dancing and other super human stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wanted to visit NYC again and I am broke and all of my friends there are in transition right now with their houses being worked on, or too cramped up...But then I have always heard about this and it is kinda perfect for me being an open and adventurous person who is open to people coming and sharing where I live as well. I don't make enough money right now for hotels and air bnb's and all of that, and I felt like this might be an alternative.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like all sorts of music. I collect rap records, so there is that, but I love all sorts of stuff. Books are usually chosen by subject matter and not by the quality of writing so I have read some super interesting and crummy books. Ha. Things that make me laugh are always welcome. Vonnegut makes me laugh. Sometimes Steinbeck makes me laugh. Tim Robbins makes me laugh (also the fact that I can't remember if his name is Tom or Tim makes me laugh). I love Oral Histories most.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I babysat for years in Switzerland for the man who started art Basel and Art Miami, and I didn't know it. I wondered why I always got invited to these cool parties.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't know what this means. But sure. All of those. That's the point of this, right?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have great stories. I am generous and very self aware and respectful. I will draw pictures and give them to you. (I am always drawing. I usually have 6 sketchbooks on me that I work in rotation. I really bring them pretty much anywhere. They can stay with me). I am a great friend if I like you. If I don't like yo I am still respectful, but I bet I will like something about you.
