CURRENT MISSION
See the world one monument, local band and brew at a time
ABOUT ME
I grew up right outside of Atlanta, GA, in a mix of country and city. I love both and like to go back and forth. I was working in tv journalism before I quit to be a waitress to save money to accomplish my goal - to move to Spain. Still confuses me I made more money that way. I'm pretty outgoing, like being around and talking to people, but also enjoy spending time alone, so I often take a book to the bar down the street for a glass of wine and some chill time. I'm a big fan of American football, Spanish wine, dancing awkwardly and listening to records. I want to own a horse farm one day when I retire and rebuild old corvettes and shelby mustangs. I've also never broken any bones!
PHILOSOPHY
There is no reset button, or trial run; just one life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Really just got involved, but trying to help spread the word! Can't wait to reciprocate
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with one girl in Barcelona, and we had a hair dyeing party ( I did hers) while drinking tequila and wine and listening to Billy Joel records. it was the only one I've done, but I had a great time and throughly enjoyed their couch
Interests
I'm interested in language and learning about other people's backgrounds; I write for fun and enjoy hearing about different experiences and ideas. I like books, cooking, astronomy, dancing, playing piano and guitar and trying different cocktails in different places. I also like old classic cars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Morocco last year, and after a trip to the police station for unknowingly breaking a taxi strike, managed to make it to the small mountain town of Imlil. We hiked over a rock slide and rode crammed in a van to get there, but it was one of the neatest experiences of my life. A young guy from the village led us up one of the mountains that over looks this tiny village that many of its inhabitants had never left. Rocked a kasbah while on said mountain. Then climbed up cliff in a dense fog, hoping I wouldn't stumble over the edge. Wasn't the most beautiful experiences, but one of the fullest.
Teach, Learn, Share
After being robbed 5 times, i've learned to only take what's absolutely essential when adventuring around a city...and splitting those things up. Eggs in one basket, not anymore!
