Ayla and I are headed to the Adirondacks! We’re an easygoing couple of Vermonters who are excited to make some new friends and explore the nature around Lake Placid in August.

We want to immerse ourselves! We love having meaningful experiences, and Couchsurfing allows us to have a closer connection to a place’s culture and its people.

I love reading and writing, storytelling and performance, and tons of nerdy stuff like D&D, Magic the Gathering, etc.

Ayla loves food, animals, and media of all types. She dances and performs in musicals and is super creative—an amazing artist and writer!

I last used Couchsurfing as part of what ended up being an impromptu 15,000 mile road trip (which I will happily talk anyone’s ear off about).

Ayla has been to 7 countries and taught dance at a school in Nepal.

I am in economic development and do circus performance on the side.

Ayla is teaching this summer before returning to grad school in the fall and does musical theatre and art.

Stories, experiences, and a passion for adventure! We can share/teach some basic circus tricks, cook up a nice dinner, and I can run a beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons session!
