About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a teacher working with teenagers and I really love my job. In my free time I travel a lot, visiting Poland and Europe. I'm a mountain freak, I used to climb but I don't do it any more. I love meeting new places and new people. I think I'm quite outgoing but a little bit shy at the beginning

PHILOSOPHY

my life my choice

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books

movies? I watch a lot - especially Irish, Polish, Czech & British films. I love going to the cinema and there are some pretty good ones in my home town. I can recommend them.
music? I listen a lot - music is my life although I can't sing or play any instrument. Rock (including polish rock) is my favourite. I try going to concerts whenever it is possible. If I had to move to a dessert island I would definitely take my ipod with me
books? I read a lot as well. Lately I'm into books about Irish history and fantasy books with magic, dragons, elves, wizards ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I've done/seen many amazing things & I can't choose only one. The one that comes to my mind is climbing Zugspitze, the highest mountain in German Alps. According to my friend 'das was nicht schwierig, das was ausgesetzt' :) and the second thing that I'm really proud of is working as a volunteer with the kids in Belfast - it was unusual experience as it was the first playscheme where the kids with different religious backgrounds could play together.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know that it's difficult to VISIT the country if you travel with a travel agency and don't meet the poeople who live there so ... I want to learn as much as I can from the people not only from the guides.
If you want to visit Lodz I can show you some places that the guide won't show you. I know the history and culture of my hometown pretty good.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
