About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm an Italian native German-speaker who is always up to something, talks a lot, always sees both sides of an issue. curious. restless. adaptable. indecisive..

____

I really enjoy hiking, climbing (still indoors) but most of all, I love swimming :)

___

Cooking. (Healthy) Cooking. I love it and I experiment a lot. If you stop by, don't be surprised. I am vegetarian. Still, I love Italian and South Tyrolian food ;)
_____

When I'm in a new place I like to explore it in all different ways...I love going to museums and visiting the most interesting places. Since I love food, trying out the local specialties is a must, and of course, checking out the nightlife.

_____

I'm currently studying Art History and English and American Studies.

PHILOSOPHY

If you cannot please everyone with your art, please a few. To please many is bad. - Friedrich von Schiller

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Berlin with my friend Julia. It was awesome, everyone has been very generous to us. I've also had some couchsurfers to stay over at my place when time allowed it.

Music, Movies, and Books

just a selection of books I really enjoyed reading:
Hanif Kureishi - The Buddha of Suburbia
Stefan Zweig - The World of Yesterday,
Voltaire - Candide,
Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice,
Nietzsche - Thus Spoke Zarathustra,
Oscar Wilde - The Picture of Dorian Gray,
George Orwell - 1984
and many more
I also really like some poetry (especially by Emily Dickinson!)

a selection of movies: The Lives of Others, In the Name of the Father, Amélie, Nadar and Simir etc.

music: soul (!), funk, jazz, blues, swing classical and electronic music...
it all just depends on the place, situation, people you're with, and course, the mood :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whenever I look at the sky and its cloud's formations. Every sunrise and sunset. People smiling and laughing. Happy eyes. Wrinkles. Reading an amazing book that leads you into the most fabulous stories. Watching the stars at night in winter when the sky is crystal clear on top of the mountains. Observing people's reactions. Going dancing until midday. Cooking delicious meals with or for my precious others. Taking pictures of picture-worthy situations. Studying people's eyes and their eye color. Eating ice-cream and walking around my home village with my friends wearing a pair of flip-flops during humid summer nights. Hiking and getting on top of a mountain you would have never expected to reach. Having breakfast at 3 pm. Procrastinating with my flatmate. Listening to music while falling asleep.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could give you a crash course in German, Italian and some French (or even English if you want to)... I also know how to use photoshop and a reflex camera. I know quite a lot about Art History, so I could guide you through the most important masterpieces in history...
I can also teach you how to cook certain meals :)

I'd love to learn Russian, Hebrew, and Farsi. I would like to become a better photographer and finally, go out and take better street photographs.

There are much more things I'd love to learn, but then the list would become almost endless :)
