Raised to Aruban-Dutch parents growing up in the French-speaking multicultural city of Brussels, having spent considerable time in Aruba, Brazil and Georgia (Republic of), and currently living in the Netherlands, I consider myself a transnational and openminded person with many cultural backgrounds. I also like to adopt something of the culture or spirit in every place I visit, or at least reside in.
I am very curious person, and I am passionate about discovering, whether it be about some spiritual concept, a cheap travel opportunity, a hidden great place in town, a new recipe... or just re-discovering something supposedly so normal.
Even though I like substance, I also believe it is very healthy to not always take life and yourself too serious either. ;)

I love Latin American music and music related to that, mainly samba and bossa nova, also salsa and cuban music, and lately also Capeverdian music. In terms of electronic music: definitely nu disco with their sexy retro synths.

I can teach you to dance salsa and bachata (when staying with men, women are required though ;) ), cooking dutch mashed potatoes (and also some italian and asian recipes), and my unique perspective on things. However, I am especialy curious to learn from others as well!
