ABOUT ME

Hi!
Hmm well I grew up in a very calm small town in south England (Devon, where about the only thing the police would be called out for would be to free a cat up a tree or something..)

I´ve always had a fascination with characters and people from an early age.. which bought me to drama and acting.. This dominated a large part of my life as a kid..I was bought up by my mother who I think I could describe as a bit of a hippy (which is something that I once struggled to appreciate but now I love to embrace!) on a small council estate backed by rolling hills and the beauty that is the south of England :)

I think all this bought me up to be a fairly laid back guy with a fun and quirk outlook to life (and humour).

My 2 favourite things in life are music and conversation.. I´m also an avid explorer when it comes to different cultures and outlooks.. which I think is reflected in all the places I´ve travelled to..

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not typically religious but a combination of a solid conscience, a hippish upbringing, a desire to be liked and a good old English politeness gives me a gentle calm philosophy, which is now guided by really thinking about and truly seeking out the things I enjoy and have always wanted to do.. (dancing being one of the big ones of late..)

Other than missing the last bus home and staying at a friends house... I´m new to couch surfing...

Music is a huge thing in my life, and because of that I´ll usually be seen lumbering my guitar around.. I used to play in a band in London (we were awful! ha ha) but now I like to tinker around with my own stuff..

After travelling to Israel in 2000 it opened my eyes to the world (and its many troubles..) this has led a deep interest in current affairs (I'd dig into a glass of wine and a deep discussion anytime :) )

As a result of my alternative upbringing I´m often drawn to alternative lifestyles, (I´m a vegetarian) and keen to meet people who have a different outlook on life..

After living and working in London for the last 4 years, I recently tried to approach life in a slightly different way and try to ´broaden my horizons´..In order to begin doing constructive things I took up salsa dancing, Spanish and meditation... These are all new pursuits I´m always looking to expand...

I seem to struggle reading fiction so generally I´m into non-fiction however I´m just cracking into ´On the Road´ by Jack Kerouac.. My friends have also recently encouraged me to put pen to paper and write poems (which I don't claim to be a master at but I enjoy any form of creation)

Well I´m a dab hand with the computers ( I did webdesign & ecommerce for 6 years) so any computer help I can give.. no worries.. I´m also thrifty with guitars so if you fancy a jam... bring it on!

I might if persuaded be able to rummage up some tasty English vegetarian meals too..
