ABOUT ME

In a previous life I worked on helicopters and flew on search and rescue missions. That life ended when i realized that the things i could touch with my hands held less meaning than the ideas in my head. I am not exactly sure where those ideas will take me, or where they came from in the first place, but i get the feeling that those questions may be missing the point.

Anyway, i figured the best course of action was take a one way trip across the Pacific Ocean and wander the Earth for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

When I was 15 years old, I submitted an assignment for an English class that was meant to explain what i wanted to do or accomplish in my life. I submitted the following:

Learn as much as possible about everything
Enjoy the time I have left
Be kind to people

I received a failing grade for this submission. It would certainly appear that I have yet to grow up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and random meetings/CS events. When i have a fixed address again I will resume hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a bit, surfed a bit, and met people in random places a bit more. So far I cannot think of one negative experience through CS.
