Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find happiness.
ABOUT ME
I like to meet other people and learn more about the world and mankind in the process. I am somewhat of an introvert by default, but I definitely enjoy the company of others who are caring and dedicated to that ethic. The outdoors, travel, and genuine friendships are way up there at the top of my list.
PHILOSOPHY
Modesty and virtue, I think, to be succinct.
I tend to lean towards Buddhist teachings, buddhanature and the ideal of Nirvana, but am still just an amateur about all this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hoping to become increasingly involved in CS more and more. Hoping for the day to be able to travel freely and not be so stuck in an 8-4:30 grind of making a living.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One official couchsurfing experience with a member in Eugene; helped to host several couchsurfers at my friend's farm on the coast in Oregon. I've also talked my friends into letting me crash on their sofa once in a while, and vice-versa. Do Boy Scout campouts count?
Interests
Backpacking, snorkeling, hiking/trekking, playing the violin, watching sad movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching a boulder fly over me within inches of my head. Watching cows with bells chase my classmate down a grassy slope at a farm in rural Austria.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't go swimming in warm, shallow, stagnant bodies of water - you might come into contact with Naegleria fowleri, a very nasty bug. This is just something I picked up as a PA student.
