Hello! I’m Cassandra- a storytelling enthusiast and casual comedian. I currently live in the city of Chicago where I spend my mornings making lattes and evenings making up stories on various stages around the city. When I’m not doing that I’m convincing people to put down the Bulliet Bourbon and to try a different whiskey.

This November I’ll be taking on my third international trip + first time hoping through different countries!

I prefer hostels and couchsurfing over Airbnb’s because of my emotional needs of connecting to others! I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be housed by locals on all of my trips (and grateful to have returned the favor when they’ve come to Chicago!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I first started traveling (2017) I had the opportunity to live in France for a summer with my friend's dad. I quickly learned the value of living like a local. Getting to live with a local and learn their rhythm is always very refreshing and I’ve never left without creating a new friend 💛

My favorite thing is making connections. As a storyteller I believe that while we all have very different life experiences we all experience the same thematic structure- just with a different flavor. I love to share stories and perspectives, opinions, knowledge, recipes, ideas, etc etc etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts
