Hi, I am Cassandra Guerrero. I am 20 years old, focusing on myself and bettering my future, which is exactly why I am in college. Currently, I am a sophomore this year and finishing off the year strong due to my studious habits. I love working with students as I am aspiring to become an Elementary teacher! A little background about me is that I was raised in a traditional Hispanic family, where we implied and promoted values of being respectful, understanding and helpful to others. This couch surfing is really neat to me because hopefully I can meet kind people, who will be able to help me out while I pursue some of my aspirations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never thought I would, but I am couch surfing because I want to take an amazing opportunity given to me this summer in Phoenix to help out in summer school. This way I can work with students during my summer break and put in all my dedication to it, versus during my semesters when taking classes. It would be great for me to find a place to stay while I want to endear this opportunity because it will count towards practicum hours for my undergraduate program and will allow me to still work during the semester to pay for my college.

Interests

Well, I love food! I like making it, and trying all new types and learning from it. I also enjoy movies, as I indulge myself into Netflix quite more than I should. I also like to do fun activities from painting to yoga, to even just walking. But I can say that my overall interests are teaching!
