Overview
About Me
I am an easy going, adventure loving, care giving individual who adores getting involved in all things creative.
I am very calm by nature, and highly invested in the work I commit myself to. Currently I am working as a case manager for youth struggling through poverty. Before that I worked with at-risk elementary school children on a research project capturing perspectives through photography as well as working as an Intern and Outreach coordinator for a university internship program in Uganda.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my most memorable travel experiences are centered around connecting to those I have met along the way. I am excited to explore another way to travel and build community.
Interests
I love hiking and just being outside really, no matter the weather
I've always been an avid arts and crafts kind of person, and I've been making a point to expand on this and learn different art forms everywhere I go.
I am up for sharing creative thoughts and skills =)
Cozy atmosphere, good food, and great conversation....these nights are always appreciated
Oh my gosh, and tea! Tea, coffee, wine =)

Music, Movies, and Books
Lately I've been reading a lot of historical fiction...latest books: Margaret Atwood's "Alias Grace", and I'm now reading Dave Eggers "What is the What"
I like a wide range of movies, from "The Princess Bride" to "The Fountain" to "Star Wars" and of course a good documentary is always welcome
I'm always happy when music is playing
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've prioritized travel and learning in my life, and I am grateful that I have been privileged enough to do so.
That, and probably sky-diving...what an amazing experience!
