About Me
Hello! I am Cassandra (or Cassie)- a vibrant, and outgoing Malaysian student who transferred to Wisconsin a year ago to complete my studies. I love spending time with animals, knitting, watching a good movie, eating delicious food, stargazing, stress-baking, being outdoors, exploring new places, and meeting new people! I am also a very curious person with the desire to gain more knowledge about basically anything, so I welcome any discussions/suggestions/recommendations, especially if it means that we'll get a good, meaningful conversation/experience out of it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Book: All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
Favorite Movies: Saving Mr.Banks, Coraline, Avatar, literally anything horror (big fan of the conjuring franchise).
Favorite Music: Pop Music and 80's Rock (Can't name any but I like the way they sound!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I donated to 19 different charities, in honor of the 19 people who suggested them, on my 19th birthday!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am often arriving in places I don't know much about yet, and so would be very grateful if you were kind enough to recommend places to go and things to do! I also put in extra effort to get to know you better, just because I believe that making meaningful connections wherever I go is super important!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a relatively new traveler, so I definitely do not have the wealth of adventure stories I would like to have. I do believe however, that coming from the other side of the world (SE Asia) has brought up much curiosity in others, and so will be more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding cultural differences, population make-up, cultural foods, traditions and languages!
In addition to that, the Malay language is also somewhat unknown to many people, so I could definitely teach you some if you would like! E.g. Terima Kasih, which means Thank You!
