I like a good beat and compelling lyrics. Right now my musical tastes are in the alternative rock to funk to jam band to newgrass range. I like most all music but please no Top 40! :)

Movies and books - I like to be compelled so I go for smart humor and a realistic story line. I'm tending toward non-fiction lately in my reading.
