PHILOSOPHY

As long as you treat others as you wish to be treated, and can look at your reflection in the mirror with a smile then no matter whether or not there is a life after this you can be happy that you lived a good life. I do not believe anyone can fault another for doing just that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not one to sit still and love going out on adventures whether they are simple ones to a new bar or more physical like snowmobiling. I want to experience all that I can while on holiday without missing the big picture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am actually brand new to this site and couch surfing. Most of my life holidays are spent with my family but I'm really excited to go out and explore couchsurfing.

Interests

My family and I are adventure junkies. I love ziplining, quading, and am up to try most adventure sports (although I am petrified of sky diving and bungy jumping). Otherwise I like reading, playing the saxophone, swimming, and going out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading fiction novels and am always open for suggestions on what to read next. [The Hunger Games, The Chosen, The Magician King, The Kite Runner, Darkness Chosen, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Deadline ]

I love movies but prefer to watch them at home with friends or family as opposed to the theater. In general I'll watch anything but tend to be a scardy cat when it comes to horror flicks. [Oh, God!, Happy Feet, (almost all Adam Sandler films), The Dark Knight, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, A Christmas Story]

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I ziplined I thought the adrenaline would rip me in two. Jumping out of trees and off of mountains to zipline upside down over rivers and beautiful landscapes is just unreal at times.

Even though I was only about 5 when I saw the grand canyon, the vastness of it all was breath taking. Being so small and seeing something so massive really puts things into perspective looking back on it now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach people how to find the bright side of most situations because it is something I think I have become quite good at. That and not being afraid to be little weird because our uniqueness is what makes us all fantastic.

I'd really like to learn what drives others, and to experience things that others are passionate about.

I love to talk and am interested in sharing the best moments of my life with people and the experiences I have had. I am also a very eager listener and love stories!
