Overview
About Me
I had to write a bio once for a yoga studio I teach at and I ended up writing a less yogic one because I felt like the first was missing a few things:
"Cas thinks autobiographies for this purpose are awkward and limiting.
She was born and raised in New York, and you bet your ass you can’t take it out of her. Catch her tired, drunk, or around other New Yawka’s and you’ll hear it.
She loves donuts & cupcakes, and fully believes it is always Taco Time. Noodles are her favorite food group: Italian, Asian, you name it, she doesn’t discriminate. Like any good post grad who relocated to Southern California, she served a short stint as a vegetarian.
Cas gave up coffee for lent in 2014 as an experiment and has never looked back. In 2015 she started managing Meshuggah Shack, a coffee shop in downtown San Diego.
Frequently “burning the candle at both ends”, Cas likes to eat, drink, dance, and play volleyball throughout San Diego, but craves and requires an exceptional amount of time alone.
She got more than she bargained for by putting a bicycle on her 2015 vision board and now her ruby red Nishiki is her primary mode of transportation.
Neither a dog nor a cat person, Cas will gladly hang out with your kid as long as you take it back within a few hours. They'll be best friends.
The oldest of 4, her immediate family all still reside on Long Island. Cas visits them at least once a year in November when she goes home to volunteer with her dad for the NYC Marathon, which they’ve been doing together for over 10 years now.
She’ll probably try and get you to take shots if you’re drinking with her.
Her sister is her favorite person on the planet.
California has made her a little flaky."
