About Me

https://rainbowsage.wordpress.com
Cassandra (South Africa) Im a free, open minded, eager, curious nomadic gypsey, expressing my art and music, inspired by the influential places and people that I have the blessing of getting to know. I was travelling South America on bicycle for 2 years (2013-2015) We travelled Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana and north of Brazil. We were on an ecological mission, to be more eco-friendly and be more in harmony with the environement and its animals. We hoped to inspire change of mentality to use more green transport such as bicycles, and to spread the message of protection of the nature. I am a friendly, down to earth, open, curious person, who is discovering the world, its culture, its natural landscapes, its languages, its social and political histories, and sharing conversations and experiences with wonderful people who live in it. Being Artists, travelling broadens your inspiration, and being Inquisitive people, travelling broadens your knowledge. My Blog: https://rainbowsage.wordpress.com/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love exploring this planet, and all the unique treasures you are exposed to, while having the courage to leave your safety zone. I was travelling South America on bicycle with my boyfriend Pablo from chile, little by little everyday. Depending on where we are riding, before night we set up camp in a safe place with our tents. Couchsurfing is one brilliant way of connecting with the culture of a country, making new friends and sharing experiences and conversations with new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled from Ecuador, to Colombia, to Venzuela, To Brazil (Boa Vista) to Guyana, to Suriname, to French Guiana on bicycle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe alot in the philosophy of sharing with other cultures. We learn from the people we meet along our travels, and we teach them what we have learnt from others...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share music, art, painting and artesania with the people who help us on our travels. I travel with a guitar, charango and an Andian flute (quena). I make my own artesania to give as presents to the people who help us along the road. As a profession, I paint Murals and work with freelance graphic design and illustration/.
