About Me
Hello new friends,
My name is Cass and I’m an Australian ‘92 baby who has permanent itchy feet and a burning desire to experience everything, meet everyone and see everywhere 🌍
Lately I have been working away at home, always saving and trying to enjoy the comforts of my beautiful home town with my friends & family but a few weeks ago my itchy feet struck again and I decided to come check out Europe for the summer, followed by going to work in Canada for the winter, so here I am, with a one way ticket and very loose plans but a very open mind.
For my first trip, back in 2010, when I finished high school I came backpacking around Europe but as I was much younger & inexperienced then, I mostly stayed in hostels.
So this time around I am more interested in meeting locals or expats and seeing places through their eyes.
As you guys usually know all the coolest spots and secret hang outs that would be easy to miss without the know how!
As I’ve been travelling on & off, as much as I can, for the last few years, I believe most would describe me as a low maintenance, relaxed, fun friend.
I love a boogie & a fun night out, but also love a few bottles of wine over a home cooked dinner.
Potluck dinner parties are one of my absolute favourite things.
I am increasingly becoming a foodie, and learning to love & appreciate food more everyday.
I love to cook, but even more so to learn about new foods from different cultures and how to cook them!
I have been a vegetarian for 14 Years now, and am increasingly leaning towards veganism these days but still have a slip up occasionally with cheese or to experience traditional dishes.
Full time vego, part time vegan probably describes it best.
I am most definitely a water baby and love to be in it & around it as much as possible.
Love to scuba dive and am learning to surf.
I grew up in a beach town in Australia, so it has always been a big part of my life.
Love most outdoorsy stuff, hiking & camping.
Am really looking forward to learning how to snow board this winter!
Anyways, there is a bit of a ramble about me, hopefully we find something in common together, would love the chance to come meet you and see your home towns!
Muchos love new friends ✌🏽💘

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled around Australia for two and a half months in a Magic Bus full of 22 crazy dirty beautiful backpackers.
Just camping in free camp sites and bathing in waterfalls.
It was the closest thing to what I imagine living in the 60s to be.
So much free hippy big communal family loving ✌🏿️
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn 〰 I'm hoping to grasp a basic understanding of Spanish on this trip.
I'm also hoping to improve my surfing and learn how to snow board.
But mostly I'm just excited to learn about new places & their people and eat all the food and drink all the wine and dance all the dances to all the songs and skip down all streets and swim in all the bodies of water with all the new friends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share belly laughs and swap stories over yummy food and few bottles of red wine 🍷
